ANNOUNCING A BRAND NEW PIANO!

Vintage Vibe has heard the many requests for a brand new, affordable, electro-mechanical piano. We are very pleased to announce that we have designed a new generation of pianos to fulfill this need. The Vintage Vibe 64 Classic will retain the same high quality standards of our current Custom line, but will take full advantage of simplified construction and production techniques. The result is a piano that can be built more efficiently in high volume and offered at an attractive price.

In order to make this new piano a reality, Vintage Vibe will need to raise the capitol to fund the additional tooling costs. To do so, we are introducing the 64 Legacy. The 64 Legacy will be produced in a limited edition of strictly 30 instruments. These pianos will be the first of the 64 Classic Series and will include chrome legs, sustain pedal, and a special limited edition Legacy badge and serial number.

The first 30 customers to commit to their purchase of a Legacy Edition piano will not only receive a beautiful, lightweight, American manufactured piano with that classic tone and feel, but they will do so at a considerable cost savings. We have set the retail price of the 64 Classic base model at $3599.00. The Legacy Edition will be offered at $2999.00. This is a savings of over 20% off of a similarly outfitted Classic Series Model and 40% off of the current 64 Custom.

Vintage Vibe will produce this limited run of Legacy Edition Pianos in approximately 6 months time upon receiving 30 orders. Full payment of purchase price is required at the time of order with shipping costs due upon piano completion. 64 Legacy purchasers will receive a certificate and receipt via certified mail as proof of purchase and will be updated on the production of their pianos throughout the process.

SPECS

The new Vintage Vibe 64 Classic will be based upon our current 64 Custom platform, and will feature all of the same high quality action and tone generation components. The 64 Classic comes standard with passive electronics. It can also be ordered with an active stereo preamp or easily upgraded by the musician in the future. A new, sleek, black, impact- resistant plastic lid reflects the styling of our Custom Series lids, but with a revised profile to allow easier integration into multi-keyboard setups.

PETER KEYS OF LYNYRD SKYNYRD!

Peter Keys of the LEGENDARY Lynyrd Skynyrd is a big Vintage Vibe fan and player. But don’t just take our word for it. Here’s what Peter has to say…

“I gotta tell ya, my new vintage vibe electric piano is just bad ass! I took it to the studio right away, and immediately had the producer asking what it was and where could he get one..The thing just plays so well. Totally even action and response top to bottom. Ultra dynamic for big lush paddy chords, and quick bounce back for fast riffs.. not mushy like a lot of Rhodes’ you find out there.. And you can get it to really bark if you dig in with just a little over-drive on your amp. It’s got a very musical feel…just killer! The electronics are amazing.. Transparent, yet punchy, and virtually no noise at all. The tremolo is super smooth, and can go from subtle to intense, depending on the vibe you’re looking for. The thing just sings! I also gotta say it’s one of the coolest looking boards I’ve ever seen. And it doesn’t break your back when it’s time to move it. The team at Vintage Vibe is super helpful, and had it to me within two weeks. Not bad considering it was hand crafted for me!”.

See what else the pros have to say!

KEYBOARD MAGAZINE REVIEW

We couldn’t be happier to be featured in the September issue of Keyboard Magazine.

“Imagine the best Rhodes you ever played but lighter, punchier, and even more road-ready. This axe will meet all of your tonal needs, from Steely Dan burners to Herbie Headhunter jams. Truth be told, playing on the Vintage Vibe was one of the most satisfying keyboard experiences I’ve had in years. It plays and breathes like an instrument, not a facsimile of one, because it is one.” – Jon Regen, Keyboard Magazine, Sept. 2012

Don’t forget to check out the behind-the-scenes video they shot at our workshop as well.
