Brought my recently acquired 1980 Rhodes Mk II to Vintage Vibe for restoration and repair. Everyone who works here is super friendly and knowledgable. When I brought the keyboard in they opened it up and showed me all the intricacies of how the instrument works, which parts typically wear out and how they repair/replace them. They asked me about my price range for the work, and recommended key repairs I within my budget. Later on when the tech evaluated the instrument, they sent a detailed breakdown of the recommended work to be done with the price estimate for approval before commencing with the work. The final product was well worth the time and money – my Rhodes sounds beautiful and plays great. Highly recommend that anyone who needs work done on on a vintage electric keyboard stop on over at Vintage Vibes, you won’t be disappointed.

I bought my Vintage Vibe 73 key electric piano 12 years ago. I started having problems with the volume pot that couldn’t be fixed. So, 12 years later, I sent the electronics back to the factory. They fixed the problem quickly. I easily put the part back in the piano and now it’s better than new. Everyone at the shop was extremely helpful, friendly, and professional. The customer service at this place is incredible. Honestly the best I’ve ever had. I’m a drummer but somehow acquired a Rhodes piano at no cost. One of the tines was broken and I was totally out of my element. When it came time to install Vintage called me directly to tell me how to fix & tune the instrument. It took me 5 minutes to fix and I learned a lot about these wonderful instruments. Thanks vintage!

Where do I begin? My whole experience from soup to nuts was beyond professional. From the minute I walked in with my Rhodes, Flynn treated me with the utmost of respect. Every aspect of my visit was covered. When I left I had no questions about what was going to be done on my piano, and how much it would cost. The final bill was exactly the same as the estimate. Then there is the general vibe of Vintage. All love baby. Each and every person acts like the are completely happy to be working there. I didn’t want to go home lol, I wanted to hang out and talk music with these people. The world would be a better place if every business had the same staff, and I’m sure that way of treating people comes from the top down. I recommended this company highly.

I serendipitously ended up with a Rhodes that looked in nice shape, but after messing around with it for a while, it wasn’t really anything like what I had expected it to be in regard to sound or playability. I brought it to Vintage Vibe based on all the great reviews out there, and entrusted them to do their thing to it. I had expected modest improvement all around, but what I got back felt and sounded like a whole new instrument!

The action was so much lighter and responsive. I had a much wider range of dynamics, and sustain at both far ends of the keybed was so alive compared to the best I was able to get out of it. The overall tone of the piano is much more in line with what I had in my head, and I can only imagine it sounding better and better as my playing improves.

All my communication with them was great. They helped me figure out what exactly I was looking to have improved, they didn’t try to get me to do any work that wasn’t needed, they got everything done much quicker than I had anticipated, and the price was more than fair for the quality of work they did.

Bonus points for getting to look around and see all kinds of unusual instruments in the shop and letting me spend a good bit of time playing with one of their house built Vintage Vibe pianos. That voicing control is an outstanding upgrade, and the build quality and action is feather light. I was also shocked to learn how much of it is made with local manufacturing.

It’s a great bunch of people here that really know their stuff. If you’re thinking about breathing some life back into your Rhodes, don’t hesitate to bring it here. Cannot recommend them enough.

I had an old classroom console Wurlitzer without even a proper electrical cord and several other issues which rendered it nearly useless. Vintage Vibe transformed it into a well-regulated, well-tuned instrument with multiple output options and a modern amp with an updated, flexible tremolo control.

It’s become my go-to instrument for daily general keyboard practice; it just feels and sounds so friendly and cooperative. And now that it’s portable, it’s done one road gig.

(Edit: I had a couple of very small issues which Adam helped me resolve completely!)

Everything I’ve bought from Vintage Vibe has been of superb quality! I’ve purchased replacement parts for my Rhodes and VOX Continental, and it’s always worked out for restoring my keyboards. On the occasion I’ve called them, they’re always very prompt and knowledgable, and if there’s a part they don’t carry, they’re willing to recommend other places to look. Fantastic company and I hope Vintage Vibe will be around for decades to come!

Got back my 1976 Rhodes MK1 Seventy Three a couple months ago from Vintage Vibe and absolutely could not be happier. Unfortunately, I sank a good deal of money into it getting it “restored” at another supposedly reputable business but ended up being quite disappointed with the work. Upon initially dropping it off at Vintage Vibe I was greeted with such a warmth I hadn’t expected and upon first inspection the professionals there gave me great confidence with their assurance in bringing this particular Rhodes to it’s best. Amicability aside, Vintage Vibe’s work speaks even louder than their good nature with a level of professionalism, expertise, and a nuanced approach I’ve yet to experience anywhere else regarding getting work done to my Rhodes and all my other vintage equipment. I’ll certainly only be doing business from here on out with Vintage Vibe concerning all my highly cherished keys and couldn’t be more satisfied. Thanks so much!

Vintage Vibe restored a beautiful 1973 Rhodes Mark I piano for me. The quality of their work and attention to detail is truly amazing. The keyboard action is smooth as ice and plays like butter. It is cosmetically beautiful too and looks brand new despite being a 48 year old piano. I would highly recommend them for anyone who wants to get their hands on a vintage piano in the best possible condition. Thanks guys!

These guys are fantastic. I brought my Rhodes to them after neglecting it for years- it wasn’t bad, but out of adjustment and therefore not inspiring to work with. They worked their magic and now it’s the first instrument I go to when I have a musical idea. Eternally grateful.

I sent the tube amplifier from my Wurlitzer 145B piano to Vintage Vibe for repair. When they received the amp it was very noisy and had an unknown amount of issues. My original contact was Tom, who helped thru the shipping info. He was great. After it was on the bench for repair, I communicated several times with James, who did the repair. Once again the communication was great and that was very important to me. When I received the amp back after repair I was knocked out at how neat and clean this amp looked. Incredible workmanship. After I installed the amp back in the Wurlitzer…wow..beautiful. I don’t know what this amp sounded like new in 1965 but I’m sure it was probably near this. James and crew, I can’t thank you enough for taking so much care of this amp. Customer service is alive and well at Vintage Vibe. Also, I bought a sustain pedal from VV as well. It is Perfect.

To accommodate my schedule, Chris F. not only finished up the Rhodes on a Friday (originally scheduled to be finished the following Tuesday) but also stayed an hour after closing to meet me with the refurbished amp.
