I bought a Vintage Vibe Electric Piano and could not be happier! This was my first experience dealing directly with the company and was so impressed, I think I’ll be a customer for a long time to come. One of the few companies around that CLEARLY place customer satisfaction above all else. If only every business operated with a similar ethos, I think the world would be a much better place.

Even though we only communicated via email, the responses were prompt and thorough. Every question I had was answered to satisfaction.

Even though the piano I bought was second hand, it was worked on and tightened up before shipping to Australia (where I live).

The action feels brand new – and I mean brand spanking new – bushings, dampers, hammer tips, voicing; everything feels perfect and sounds wonderfully balanced. Even the tines respond with the same balance of overtones across the board. I find it difficult to imagine that even Rhodes pianos came out this good from the factory.

If you love a Rhodes, you will LOVE one of these machines. They are hand-built, lightweight, gorgeous to play and just as nice to look at.

And at the end of the day, life is too short.

Love dealing with Vintage Vibe. I’ve been buying Rhodes and Wurlitzer parts from them for several years now. They’re extremely knowledgeable and always helpful. If you’re learning how to work on your own vintage electric piano, check them out on YouTube. Lots of great info there.

When a capacitor on the original board failed, Adam from Vintage Vibe replaced all the electronics for my Wurlitzer 200A. He was careful to inspect the keyboard in front of me, confirm the problem, answer all my questions about the new VV amplifier, and he even introduced me to Fred who let me test the new VV piano (with variable voice control). When I picked the piano up, Adam had set it up for me to play. He even carried it out to my car for me. I made the trip up from VA, but the time in the car was well worth it. If you’re in the market for servicing your vintage keyboard, I’m not sure I could imagine a better experience. It’s a niche market – and maybe even a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity – but you won’t be disappointed.

What I value about this place is they combine an infectious passion for these instruments with a practical, businesslike approach to the work. They were clear about how long the wait time would be (it was several months) and their estimate was spot-on. They strongly encouraged me to invest in a top-to-bottom refurbishment of my Rhodes, which was expensive but the end result was worth it.

Vintage Vibe is great, my go to go for Rhodes and Wurlitzer repair. I’ve called them on the phone to ask for repair advice and they’re always super helpful, polite, and of course extremely knowledgable about vintage electric pianos. Any part you could ever need for a Rhodes or Wurlitzer is available at reasonable prices, nowhere else has The extensive collection of parts they have. The repair videos they have posted on Youtube are extremely thorough and informative, I’ve learned so much about Rhodes pianos and how to repair them thanks to their videos. Highly recommend Vintage Vibe for all your electric piano needs!

I bought a lot of parts from them to refurbish my Rhodes EP. They have a line of high quality spares at reasonable prices. They also provide a ton of information for anyone wanting to repair their instrument. Fast response to queries and timely delivery of the parts, even though I live in Australia.

This place does top notch keyboard service. Worth the money. I’ve had a D6 and a Rhodes Mk1 each go through some form of vintage vibinization. Both came out the other side better than I had hoped. The miracle mod on the Rhodes is awesome.

Can’t say enough good things about these guys! My ’81 Suitcase started sounding like it had a blown speaker one day. Spoke to Tom who directed me to the diagnostic videos on their website, which were extremely helpful and narrowed it down the the pre-amp. Easy to remove and ship to them. Less than 3 weeks turnaround and I just re-installed it tonight and presto! Sounds Great! Pricing was very reasonable, total repaid was under $300 with shipping both ways! Thank you so much, glad to have my piano back in working order. BTW, a year ago I ordered and installed a complete refurbkit for hammers, dampers, and felts. Easy to follow vids made the home rebuild possible.

Vintage Vibe has been helpful, quick to respond, and chock full of knowledge on anything regarding vintage keyboards. Don’t get me started on the fact the fact that they’ve re-engineered their own versions of some of the most iconic sounds so that future generations can enjoy their effort and the effort made by those before them. True torch carriers! Keep up the great work.

I have never owned a VV piano, but I did have the opportunity to try one of the VV73 with their new action. Man, does that piano feel so good; sounds like sex on a velour couch and barks like a dawg!! I have had two Wurlitzer 200A’s electric pianos serviced: cleaned up, tuned voiced set up! Unbelievable, One was sold to my buddy Vinny Troyani, which he loves and currently uses in his recording studio, the other I have and currently use on different gigs and jamming with Art & Al, and Angelo’s Wed. night blues jams time to time. Adam Kaniper is a super duper whiz kid!! I love that Wurli 200A, man I love the tone, the feel, responsiveness, everything about that board!! He also hooked up the strings on my Hohner Calvinet D6! James did an out standing job on his modification to my 1979 EH Small Stone phaser! It doesn’t get any better than Vintage Vibe! I have bought and continue to buy parts for my Rhodes pianos. Chris, Jon, Fred, James & Adam are a tremendously valuable resource with information and always responding to questions and sharing their expertise patiently via telephone and email despite their work load and projects these guys will get back to you more than appropriately. I don’t think there are enough stars to express how great an organization, team and family they truly are! TUESDAY TECH TIPS RULE!!!!

I bought one of the first VintageVibe 73 Pianos several years ago. It is a beautifully crafted instrument which has earned its place next to my moog and the grand. Reliability problems of the hammers were a big problem after the first two years of using the piano. The screws were tightened to heavily and the plastic mounts of the hammers broke just next to the holes for the screws. However, Vintage Vibe sent me a full set of 73 replacement hammers free of charge which I mounted myselfe. If you want a maintenance free piano get yourselfe a nord. But if you don’t worry spending some bucks on repairs every few years or if you like tinkering a bit on the machine yourselfe – Vintage Vibe is the way to go.
